Dr. Kelly Wolfenson Guay is a 1999 Tufts Veterinary School graduate who now specializes in home visits for small animals. Since graduation I have worked as a mixed animal veterinarian, at small animal clinics, and as a professor at Becker College.
Dr. Kelly's House Calls is the result of combining my love for veterinary medicine with my desire to teach and take my time with patients and their owners. While I do not provide all the services a brick-and-mortar clinic can, I am able to focus on each patient for as long as he or she needs, no rushing or stress! I take the time to get to know you and your pet, give them time to get used to me, listen to a thorough history and answer ALL your questions.
I provide wellness and preventive care services, like physical exams and vaccines, as well as care of chronic conditions, like kidney disease or diabetes, nail trims, ear cleanings, wound care, and even home euthanasias. Each appointment is scheduled for at least an hour so we have plenty of time to communicate clearly regarding all your pets' needs.
Prices are comparable to local veterinary clinics, however, at this time I do not offer surgeries, x-ray, or certain lab tests. I am also available to speak to school groups, scout clubs, and community groups, which I really enjoy! Did I mention I love teaching? Veterinary clinics are welcome to contact me for relief coverage during vacations, maternity leave, and illnesses.
